Wall mounted fans are the perfect solution for air circulation in small rooms like office cabins, studio spaces, kitchens, and others.
Popular brands that provide high quality wall mounted fans are Orient, Havells, Bajaj, V-Guard, Crompton and Usha. Compared to air conditioner, air coolers and ceiling fans, they are much more affordable. Most of the wall mounted fans in India are priced between Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000.
Below are the important factors to keep in mind while buying a wall mount fan.
- Blade Sweep: It represents the area covered by fan blades while rotating. Higher blade sweep indicated better air flow coverage. So, we recommend to choose a model with blade sweep between 40mm to 450mm.
- Fan Speed: It is measure in RPM (rotations taken by fan per minute). Faster the fan rotates, better the performance it provides (both – in terms of air flow and pressure). Some models provide the convenience of controlling the speed, while others come with single speed. It is better to go for a model with multiple speed settings as you can increase/decrease depending on your requirement.
- Air Delivery: This metric is generally calculated in CMM i.e. cubic meter per minute or CFM i.e. cubic feet per minute. Large the CMM value, higher the amount of air flow. 60 to 85 CMM is considered as the ideal air delivery rate.
