Whether it is a sofa or couch, everything requires a cushion that completes them both. Not only that, it gives proper comfort and relaxation to the body.
While a feather filling cushion is quite expensive and requires everyday shaking and plumping, a foam-filled cushion lasts long and is also very expensive. But a cushion that has fiber filling lasts long, provides comfort, doesn’t require any maintenance and is inexpensive of all.
Various researches show that people prefer fiber-filled cushions but to know more about it before buying, you might want to take a look at these specifications:
- Filling inside
There are many types of fills used inside a fiber pillow such as synthetic cluster fiber, Gell fiberfill, natural fibers, and others. The most commonly used fillings are micro and polyester fillings which ensure longevity, comfort and more hypoallergenic option.
- Size
It depends on the size of your sofa or couch. Generally, a 40 X 40 cms fiber-filled cushion would suit any sofa on average. Also, pairs depend upon your choice and number of people sitting on the couch or sofa.
- Firmness
Firmness and softness of the cushion are responsible for making your body maintain proper alignment while sitting or lying. Hence, going for the one which provides both of these can be a good option.
